Embankment dams are essential infrastructures that contribute to economic prosperity, quality of life and the safety of the population and which must be preserved and maintained. In addition, in an effort to strengthen climate resilience and meet the increased requirements with regard to seismic stresses, upgrade will be necessary on certain dams in operation.
